Course Overview

Continuous Improvement
Achieving the critical goals of quality, speed and lower operational cost requires continuous process improvements. The skills learned through ‘Job Methods’ provides proven, simple and practical methods managers and team leaders can use to approach the task of process improvement. Participants learn how to break jobs down into their component operations, where every detail can be systematically questioned in order to generate ideas for improvement.

New methods are developed by eliminating, combining, rearranging, and simplifying steps in the process. This course provides resourceful methodologies for identifying and addressing improvement opportunities in the business.

COURSE OBJECTIVE
Provide team leaders with a practical plan to help them produce greater quantities of quality products in less time by making the best use of the people, equipment and materials available.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders with responsibility for process and performance improvement.

COURSE LENGTH
16 Hours of training delivered in two FULL days
Day 1: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Day 2: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

CLASS SIZE
Maximum of 10

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Any PPG customer is eligible to attend any MVP Business Fundamentals course.
